ORDER APPROVING SETTLEMENT

CLAIM FORM - OCTOBER 22, 2010 DEADLINE

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This website is to provide information about this class action and its settlement.

The Official Notice to Class Members contains a full explanation of the litigation and settlement.

Pleadings and Court Orders - These are the main court documents and orders in the two cases that constitute the class action and settlement.

Order Certifying Class and Preliminarily Approving Settlement  This is the court order giving preliminary approval of the settlement and setting the date and time for final approval:  June 28, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the court house in Wentworth, NC.

THE TIME PERIOD FOR SUBMITTING CLAIMS HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH AND UNTIL OCTOBER 22, 2010.

BENEFIT TO CLASS MEMBERS:  There are two subclasses: Subclass A, those who took advances from Legal Bucks and repaid the money with interest; and  Subclass B, those who currently have outstanding advances from Legal Bucks.
Subclass A. If you have paid Legal Bucks you will be entitled to be repaid a portion of the interest you paid.  It is hoped that you will receive at least 20% of the interest you paid.  However the final amount will depend on the total amount recovered, the number of claims made and the expenses of the lawsuit.
Subclass B.  Your benefit is that you do not have to repay any interest, only the amount you received (if your underlying lawsuit settles for enough money).
